These prototypes and samples may be used once for projects, games, business or mass produced by manufacturers for business. Compared to E bay and amazon, which have relatively standard and one-liner product description, 3-dimensional products need to be described in more detail for entrepreneurs. Most of these are designed with a specific property or function in mind which is not a trend in the consumers market of E-bay and Amazon. Research products or products based on research may even have links and references to the fashion context (eg. movies, music videos and you tube videos) and applications. Many toys and educational products based on research are designed to check for material facts from material samples. Finally, some of these 3-d print products may simply be a part of blog or websites that sell essays and academic research papers while consumer products on E bay or amazon do not need an application essay or a blog to target a specific audience. Overall, there are some major differences between three dimensional products and consumer products on Amazon and E bay.

   In conclusion, despite the differences between 3-dimensional products and consumer products, the quality of the print materials offered by most 3-dimensional printing service based business online and business that simply sell these materials is as good as a finished consumer product and a functional one too!    Since the early 20th century, when the automobiles were invented there have been millions of road accidents claiming millions of lives and millions of dollars vehicle from collision damage. Many of these accidents require the cars to be trashed in the junkyard for parts. Animal experiments confirmed that the rate of airbags deployment during impact also damaged the heart. Since then, airbags deployment standards have been improved. Also, side impacts were studied to have the most fatalities since the safety features are no good when the “metal (6 inches apart) impacts a 3000 to 4000-pound force to upper torso within 20 milliseconds”. It took about 10 years to develop a dummy for side impact studies which resulted in door padding as a safety feature. With new advances in science and technology, new safety features are constantly designed and improved for a safe ride.

    Though manufacturers have a long list of safety features in all vehicles, it is up to the vehicle consumers or the drivers to keep themselves and everyone else on the road safe in one piece. Consumer products also play a key role in keeping the roads safe and drivers covered. From collision damage insurance to the auto trader to sell cars involved in a collision, from CAA memberships to rental cars and from Bluetooth to apps all are services to give drivers and vehicle owners a sense of relief. Nevertheless, accidents are a common phenomenon. From kitchen accidents that result to fire to slip & fall accidents that result in fractures, accidents do happen from time to time and so research on consumer products and protection is on the rise.
